First of all, I had intended to use new umbrella - but the circumference of the pole was too large. I wound up using a smaller patio table umbrella that had seen better days. In folding out the table, its important to extend all parts and lock them in. The table itself has a locking piece on either end, but can fall out if you are moving the table around while fully extended. Otherwise, it was perfect for a family gathering. The children claimed the table first (which conveniently left the other chairs for the adults as intended). For those who like to travel and pack their own food for stops, this is also ideal to provide seating for 4 adults. A little cozy on the seating, but do-able. As the children played, several young adults took over the table. Extremely hot days may require some protection on surfaces but we had it out in the sun on a hot day with no complaints. This is also a convenient solution in homes that entertain children but not house them. The table can be set up for visits and then folded away when children are gone.

We took this to the beach and what a difference! It gets you off the ground and gives everyone a place to sit and eat. We coupled this with the shadezilla shade cabana and never want to go to the beach without either again.

Okay our daughter needed to get away with the kids and cane to visit us during quarantine. We remembered this table from years and years ago and bought it to put in the kitchen for the kids. The 18 month old, 3 and 6 year old sat at the table every meal. And we sat at our table right near by. We have drench doors to the patio and when we wanted to eat outside we brought it out too. It’s easy to hose off. It’s very lightweight. And it was super fun for them. They loved having a picnic like atmosphere. We even dressed it up one night and put a table cloth on it. An adult often sat with them just to hang out and it was no problem with the weight. One slight design issue is the one inch pin on either side— our youngest wanted to play with it and pull it out. It doesn’t have a real major role in the table but it did bother me that it could get lost if the string it’s on is broken. We ended up taping the pegs in so we wouldn’t lose them. I think every grandparent needs this table. We loved it. They loved it.

worked fine for 2 weeks and then little screws started coming out.. then the screws kept popping out. one side was really flimsy. you can not put any weight on it all otherwise everything would slid the opposite side. and finally it broke after we couldn't put the screws back in anymore.

We love everything about this table. It holds our family of 4...adults and kids, without issue. It is very easy to setup and pack away. We really like how lightweight the table is as we are trying to keep our cargo carrying weight to a minimum. I didn't think we needed it when we purchased it and now I am not sure how we would do without! The only feature I would change is the pins that are on the side to lock the table straight. They are on a very short string. One of our pins already came out of the string but we just taped it inside the table so we wouldn't lose it.

I purchased an earlier version of this folding table about 5 to 10 years ago. It held up quite well. The new version is flimsy when compared to the older model. I weigh 190 pounds, and sat on it on a gravel surface. Within two hours, I could see some indentation on the seat where I was sitting.

I use the table to set up a computer and a printer for work. The table surface on the newer model is also not as sturdy as the older model, and it sagged a bit in the middle.

The only advantage of the new model is that it is significantly lighter in weight (maybe 30%). However, I would much rather have it a bit heavier and pay more for a sturdier model. I was quite disappointed. It would be OK for people who would rarely use it, and where lighter weight is really important to them.

COOL PORTABLE TABLE

So I bought this table for 27.99. Great deal and great table. My daughter who is 9 and my husband and I used it at the Verizon amphitheater. My weight is 180 lbs and my husband is about the same weight too. We very cautious about setting down, but successfully we both sat down without any complications. I don't understand the person that said after an hour the table broke. I just wonder if the people that were sitting on it where a little heavier than me or my husband and that had to be more than 360+ lbs or more because my daughter weighs about 60 lbs.
